Which city is more developed, Bangalore or Hyderabad?

Both are one of the biggest cities in India

Bangalore is the 4th costliest city in terms of GDP after Mumbai ,Delhi and kolkata , Hyderabad is the fifth costliest with gdp. So no doubt Bangalore is richer city than Hyderabad, Hyderabad has the capacity to develop faster only time can tell.
There is rivalry and healthy competition between Bangalore and Hyderabad for title “Silicon Valley of India “ and comptetition for IT and software industry.
Bangalore is the tech capital of India , start up hub, at present the Silicon Valley of India,Beer capital of India, electronic city of India, also the Flouricultural capital of India, global index ranked it as the most dynamic in the world in 2019.
Hyderabad is the Pearl city, pharmaceutical capital of India ,genome valley of India ,hi-tech city of India, it was ranked the most dynamic city in the world in 2020.
When it comes to infrastructure if you construction of skyscrapers and high-rises, both cities have adequate number of such tall structures and the number is also pretty close. both have malls and parks etc.

Film industry

Bangalore is home to Kannada or Sandalwood film industry the 5th largest Indian film industry in terms of revenue, which has produced movies like - Lucia ,Kgf, A, Upendra, Uturn, Accident, Rangitaranga, Dweepa, etc
Hyderabad is home to Tollywood film industry or Telugu film industry ,which is the second largest film industry in terms of market and revenue has producers movies like Bahubali series, swathimutyam, Shiva, Eega, Magadheera, Kshanam,Happy days,etc.
IT and other industry size

Bangalore

No doubt at present Bangalore is the largest hub nearly 35 percentage of IT industry in Bangalore - Infosys, google, IBM, wipro,microland,oracle,hp etc , others industry include isro ,Rajesh exports, NAL, HAL, BEML , flipkart, ola, etc.Peenya industrial area ,electronic city , etc

Hyderabad

Hyderabad is the 2nd largest hub after Bangalore, it houses - infosys ,google, facebook, infotech, T-hub, largest office of amazon, Microsoft, Dr. Reddys labs, etc and other industries .It has Hi-tech city, SEZs etc.

Pharmaceutical industry and biotech

Bangalore houses “Biocon “one of largest biotech and pharmaceutical companies in India

Hyderabad houses “Dr. Reddys laboratories “ largest biotech and pharmaceutical companies in India .

Areas of both the cities are big and Bangalore is a bit bigger by some sqkms, if you take metropolitan region.

Roads

Bangalore has less flyovers and quality of roads is average compared to other cities. There is nice road, tumkur road, hosur road, Bellary road, etc. The ring road is very less when compared to Hyderabad. The traffic is infamous I need not to say anymore.

So Hyderabad wins here with comparatively with better traffic management and bit better quality roads.

Bangalore has Bommanhalli Electronic city flyover, Hyderabad has P.V.Narasimha rao flyover.

Metro

Bangalore had metro delayed by many times due to delayed works in underground section and irresponsible government it now has 56 km line with 42 km working line.

Hyderabad metro is lengthier and it is 72 km second largest after Delhi .

Real-estate

Bangalore has a bit upper-hand however Hyderabad too is growing with cheaper rates and prices etc.

So both are neck to neck.

Future

Bangalore future depends on how it is going to survive in the surge of its growth, Bangalore has bit problems in growth issue. Many people are not taking it seriously ( the politicians)

Hyderabad in my opinion has better scope for growths and better future, with ministers like KTR, good funding ,planning ,better developments works etc.

For me Bangalore is better city as I'm living it it, Others have their opinion Hyderabad is better city for them.

So At present Bangalore is bit richer than Hyderabad in terms of GDP, but only in future can tell who can grow faster, Hyderabad is capable of beating but it's a bit difficult and requires time.

So both are equally developed
